Don’t devalue your feelings

Regularly I have clients come in and want to “control” their feelings, emotions and reactions.

I ask them why.

As a society we have devalued our feelings so much that we constantly attempt to control them.

What about if we felt them? Allowed them. Processed them safely?

Wouldn’t that be a lot nicer and kinder to our souls?
